3D version of Amber Heard drawing.
Not as much depth to play with on this one, but I’m getting better at the 3D making process.
This was made by myself from my old drawing of Amber Heard.

So this happened on my Twitter the other day. And you wouldn’t believe how close it was to being on 11.11.11 too, that would have been way too much 1 for one to witness.
I just want to pick up a pencil and spend a couple hours drawing something.
I love these moods, less so when I’m stuck at work all day though. :(
Instead of drawing this weekend, I spent much of it cleaning up the house I was staying at now that the flood waters have receded.
I just want to draw. Damn.
I played football last night for the first time in ages, it was great. But we played for about 4 hours, and in the last 10 minutes I managed to injure myself. No-one should play for that long, we’re not made for it.
That or I’m just getting old (it’s my birthday next week).
But my new found inability to walk means I wont be getting about much this weekend. Which means I should have time to draw :) That’s a win, right? It’s been a while.
I have my Angelina Jolie sketch that needs finishing. And also have old, old drawings of Hendrix and Ellen Page I might decide to finish at some point too :D
Whilst I have nothing new to post, here is the video of my Gerard Way drawing I did a while back :)

But I have moved to Thailand fairly recently, as many of you might know by now. And so had a whole new life to adjust to.
And then Thailand floods.
And so having just got settled in and into a nice routine, it’s all change again.
I have had to move in with my Uncle as the house I was previously staying has flooded.
With any luck I shall return to a more regular routine some time in the coming weeks. And with it, return to drawing more regularly too.
(I have a few of people interested in commissions from the UK so there’s an extra incentive to get back to it sooner, and will see a return to my detailed portraits rather than quicker sketches)
(If I find time in the meantime, I shall continue to go through my old drawings, I’m probably over-due posting another, maybe tomorrow)

Freehand sketch, in my A5 Moleskine.
Angelina now has half a face. I have fixed a lot of the problems with the face from the first work in progress I submitted. Please ignore the other eye for now, it’s bad and needs fixing too. This drawing if fun.

I might be away from the internet for a little while. Whilst the flood water hasn’t reached our house yet, it is well on it’s way. Like a 5 minute bike ride away, I went today to check it out. What can I say, it’s floods.
So in the meantime, here is another of my old drawings. Whilst I was improving somewhat by this point, this portrait still lacks much detail and is also lacking in contrast. Done back in July ‘09
According to the latest scientific research, completely conjured by my mind, not having a PS3 is actually causing me to gain weight.
When I am home and have wondered the depths of the internet for a little while, I get bored. When I’m bored I stroll out from my room in search of something, anything. This something is normally then eaten.
This is almost certainly a direct result of me not having a PS3.
A PS3, it turns out, would be the best solution for this particular issue.
And so, in light of this recent finding I think I shall seek out the remedy and purchase a PS3 sooner rather than later. Just as soon as the city is no longer at risk of major flooding, ‘cos I’m not sure how well the consoles function underwater.
Even if they did work I would have to wear goggles whilst playing in order to see what I’m doing, and lets face it, that would make me look ridiculous.
So I’m just going to have to wait it out.
